Heather Marie (Hebert) Friend, 38, residing in Huron, passed away unexpectedly late Friday afternoon, April 28, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
Heather was born June 9, 1984, in Sandusky, the daughter of Douglas Scott and Lisa Marie (Dendinger) Herbert Sr. Heather graduated from Margaretta High School. She was employed by McDonalds, Huron.
She loved being a mom and spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a foodie, visiting parks, and Cedar Point.
Heather is survived by her son, Alex Friend Hebert; life partner, Joe Reed; father, Douglas Hebert Sr.; sister, Laurel (Brian) Jackson; two brothers, Christopher (Stephanie) Meredith and Douglas (Taylor Gilbert) Hebert Jr.; nieces and nephews, Katie, Kaleb, Serenity, Ellie, Sapphire, Ollie, Scarlet, and Waylan; aunt, Patricia Hebert; and two uncles, Brian (Roxanne) Dendinger and Sean Dendinger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Hebert; maternal grandmother, Mary Dendinger; paternal grandmother, Linda Hebert; and aunt, Maureen Dendinger.
It was her wish to be cremated. Family services will take place at a later date.
