Jacob Robert Kluding, 27, left this earth Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jacob was born Feb. 21, 1996, in Norwalk. He was a 2014 graduate of Norwalk High School where his passions were wrestling and cross country. After graduation, he moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where he began his career in concrete/bridge work. Jacob's hobbies consisted of spending time with his beautiful children, car and bike shows, and fishing. Jacob met the love of his life, Abby Johnson, in the fall of 2021.
Jacob is survived by Abby; their daughter, Angela Kate; son, Asher Kluding of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; father, Benjamin (Amanda) Kluding of Norwalk; mother, Stephanie (Daniel) McConnell; paternal grandfather, Robert Kluding of Monroeville; maternal grandfather, Charles Maines of Clyde; four stepbrothers, Noah McConnell, Levi McConnell, Grant McConnell, and Joshua McConnell, all of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jacob was preceded in death by both of his grandmothers, Patricia Kluding and Sylvia Maines.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
