James E. "Jim" Deppen, 63, of Clyde, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Jim was born May 13, 1960, in Bellevue, the son of Kenneth Alvin and Mary Elizabeth (Moser) Deppen.

Jim most recently drove truck for Great Lakes Packing. He also drove truck for Style Crest. Prior to driving truck, he owned his own construction company. One of his favorite hobbies that he loved throughout his life was fishing.

Those who knew Jim knew he was a born-again Christian and spoke the Gospel to many people on his journey called life.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Katie (Lemual) Borton of Clyde; siblings, Kenneth (Elva) Deppen of Bellevue, Carol (Dan) Boies of Bellevue, and Christine (Steve) Dendinger of Deland, Florida; significant other, Kathy "Sid" Stine of Fremont; and special niece, Marie (Bryan) Taylor.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Diane Schank.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, until the time of Jim's funeral at 2 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, Ohio, 43410. Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.
