Jane A. Jaggers, 99, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky.

She was born Sept. 29, 1924, in Dubois, Pennsylvania, and lived in the Sandusky area most of her life. Jane was employed as a cook at the former Erie County Care Facility until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King books. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Rowe of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Brian, Brandy, Bret, Tara, Joel, and Keith; 18 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Jaggers; three sons, Conrad Rowe, Delbert Rowe, and Barry Rowe; daughter, Sherry Jefferson; and two grandsons, Kenny Rowe and Gordon Rowe.

Jane's funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The Rev. Andrea Mericle will officiate. Burial will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
