Janet Miller (nee Brant), 77, of Huron, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, at Fairview Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 11, 1946, in Sandusky, and was Huron resident for the majority of her life, moving from Berlin Heights.
Janet enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and going to flea markets. When she wasn't outdoors, she could be found cooking, canning, or doing artwork and painting.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Miller; children, Karen Smith of Florida, Kenny Miller of Elyria, Kevin (Cissy) Miller of Oklahoma, Kathy (Don) Miller of Wellington, and Stacey Miller of Huron, whom she raised; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored; and sisters, Aloha "Tootsie" (Jim) Stallard, Ruth "Pete" Chaffin, Florence "Smokey" (Frank) Potter, and Cathy (Rodney) Johnston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ruth (nee Wallace) Brant; and siblings, Susan Jackson, Keith "Sonny" Brant, David Brant, and Paul Brant.
A celebration of Janet's life will be at a later date.

Very sorry to know Jan has passed away. Her and Ray are part of our Church Rd neighborhood. We used to have a lot of fun at the field party's behind my parents house where we would spend the day playing softball, volleyball, cooking out and enjoying a camp fire when it got dark. Jan always had a delicious plate of brownies or some other treat to share, she was a great baker. Condolences to her family.

Janet and I were good friends in High School and after. She was so much fun to be around. We had lost touch over the years. I was so sad to hear of her death. May God bless and comfort her family.
