Janet L. Nason, 64, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

She was born Sept. 14, 1958, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Emery and Dorothy Whiting.

Janet is survived by her sons, Ronald "Scott" (Tina) Nason of Parker, Colorado, Andrew Nason of Port Clinton, and Matthew (Angie) Nason of Bellevue; long-time boyfriend, Tom Gonzales of Sandusky; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Lela (Al) Tettau of Oak Harbor and Judy (Larry) Williams of Michigan; and brothers, Mike (Cindy) Whiting of Marblehead and Steve Whiting of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Whiting; and sister, Diane Blevins.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd., Lakeside-Marblehead.

Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
