Jeffery Chen, 55, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Jeffery was born June 25, 1970, in Montreal, Canada, to Hua-Feng Joseph and Pi-Shia (Tung) Chen.

Jeffery completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and later earned his degree in dental medicine from Case Western Reserve University. He then completed his residency at St. Luke's Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland. He worked at Bright Now Dental for 26 years, where he enjoyed serving the Sandusky community and valued his colleagues, who felt more like family. Jeffery was a member of Cleveland Museum of Art. In his spare time, he enjoyed running, music, the arts, cheering for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and being a proud "Swiftie." He was also an avid traveler and animal lover, but most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Jeffery is survived by his parents, sister, Jolie Chen; and his Bright Now Dental family.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025, to celebrate Jeffery's life at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
