Jeffery Weber Obituary

Jeffery William Weber

Jul 29, 1961 - Apr 22, 2025

Fort Wayne

Jeffrey William Weber, 63, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at home.

Jeff was born July 29, 1961, at Memorial Hospital in Sandusky. He attended Sandusky High School and graduated in the 1980 class. On August 14, 1987, he married the love of his life, Lisa (Riedy) Weber.

Over the years, Jeff worked for MascoTech in Port Clinton, Delphi in Sandusky, and later for General Motors in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a proud member of UAW Local 2209, where he especially valued his time serving on the Veterans Committee. Jeff was deeply committed to helping his sister, Susan, advocate for the SFC Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act, named after his goddaughter's late husband, an Iraq War veteran.

Jeff's legacy is one of big laughs, bigger heart, and a deep love for life's simplest pleasures -a good game, a smooth ride, and a well-timed joke. He had a quick wit, a stubborn streak and a knack for making everyone feel like family (unless you were rooting for Michigan, O-H!) Whether he was bowling a perfect 300, firing up his Harley for a joyride or watching Supermodifieds race at Sandusky Speedway, Jeff did everything with passion, humor, and a touch of rebellion. He lived fully, loved fiercely, and left behind stories that will be retold with laughter for years to come.

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lisa; his son, Kyle (Cheri) Weber; and daughter, Keri Weber, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his cherished grandchildren, Avanlee, Cadence, and Hazel Weber, and Kai Reid. He is also survived by his sisters, Victoria Russell, Susan (David) Zeier, and Barbara Kluding, all of Sandusky; his brothers, David (Natalya) Weber of Centreville, Virginia, and Mark (Kelly) Weber of Minnetonka, Minnesota; in-laws, Ron (Michelle) Riedy of Texas, Jackie (Ted) Williams, Rondi (Jeff) LaMarca, Denise (Michael) Canfield all of Sandusky, and Becky (Mike) Posey of Bellevue; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Schemmer of Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris (Guss) White; father, Robert Weber; and stepfather, James D. White; his maternal grandparents, William and Ida (Luipold) Guss; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Helen (Mitchell) Weber; and stepfather-in-law, Ron Schemmer.

Memorial contribu-tions in Jeff's name may be made to Parkview Hospice, 1900 Carew St., Suite 6, Fort Wayne, IN 46805
