Jeffrey D. Rohrbacher, 71, of Castalia, passed away Friday morning, November 28, 2025, at Firelands Health, Sandusky, following a sudden illness.

He was born August 9, 1954, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1972. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and Margaretta Athletic Booster Club for over 40 years. Jeff was a salesman for Koch Aluminum, Sandusky, for many years and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed following the local and professional sports teams and coaching his kids' sports when they were growing up.

He is survived by his wife, Barabara (Matta) Rohrbacher; sons, Kiel (Rebekah) Rohrbacher and Kevin (Kelcy) Rohrbacher; grandchildren, Desmond, Kennedy, Kenson, Kendall, Kellen, and Parker; sister, Karen (Dan) Bard; several nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Kurt Rohrbacher and parents, Willard and Jean Rohrbacher.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m.Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia. Minister Elizabeth Kieffer will officiate, and burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.
