Sandusky

Jeffrey William "Jeff" Rosekelly died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at his home.

Jeff was born Aug. 1, 1975, in Sandusky, to Bill Rosekelly and Karen (nee Corral) Rosekelly. Jeff graduated from Sandusky High School in 1993 as the class valedictorian and from Case Western Reserve University in 2002 with a degree in Materials Science in Engineering. Jeff married his wife, Maureen (nee Carmel), on June 25, 2005m and they share one son, William. He was a devoted husband and father. Jeff has aspirations to be a junior high pole vaulting champion. He had a passion for concrete and an incredible sense of humor. He was an avid fan of Cleveland and Ohio State sports and a voracious reader. Jeff was a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob and he will be dearly missed by many of his friends. "So it goes…"

Jeff is survived by his wife, Maureen Rosekelly; beloved son, William Rosekelly; "daughter," Chloe of Sandusky; mother, Karen Rosekelly of Sandusky; father, Bill (Tricia) Rosekelly of Huron; brother, John (Karen) Rosekelly of Milan; sisters, Heidi Rosekelly and Abby (Chris) Schwanger of Sandusky; father-in-law, David (Elizabeth) Carmel of LaGrange; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Betty Corral; paternal grandparents, Paul Rosekelly and Kathleen Rosekelly Ezell; and aunts, Julie Fisher and Diana Martinez.

In honor of Jeff, I urge you to please notice when you are happy and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, "if this isn't nice, I don't know what is."
