Joan Clair Schuster, 94, of Sandusky, passed away at her residence.

She was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Sandusky to the late Howard C. and Armella (Hobert) Masten.

Joan was a 1948 graduate of Sandusky High School and married Richard Schuster in 1950. She worked with her family for years in their Sandusky Sweeper Service business. She enjoyed reading, painting, and all needlework. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Thomas C. (Rise) Schuster of Sandusky; daughter, Susan C. (Attila) Eklics of Elyria; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert H. Masten; brother-in-law, Gerald Salyers; and other relatives.

Including her parents, and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, William "Moose" Schuster; and her sister, Wendy L. (Masten) Salyers.

At her request, cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Toft Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions, in her name can be made to Sandusky Library, 114 W. Adams St., Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
