Joaquay Alon Massey-Agee, 29, of Toledo and formerly of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his home.

Joaquay was born June 13, 1994, in Sandusky. He lived most of his life in Sandusky and Toledo. He also spent time living in Columbus, West Palm Beach, Florida, and Jacksonville, Florida. While living in Florida, he used his skills as a carpenter operating his own business renovating houses. Joaquay attended Bowser and Life Skills Academy in Toledo. He was employed as a welder at Eletro Prime in Toledo.

Joaquay was a gamer and enjoyed Anime, barbecuing, fishing, and traveling. He was known for being an adventurous thrill seeker. He was also an avid diehard fan of Dallas Cowboys!

Joaquay leaves to cherish his memory his father, Reginald "Reggie" Agee; mother and stepfather, Alycia D. Massey and Remero Johnson; fiancé, Jessica Coleman; four stepsons; 15 siblings; and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Sharon Massey; paternal great-grandmother, Gloria Crabb; and paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Christol Shoemo.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky. Joaquay's funeral will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Tracey Shoemo of Spirit and Truth Ministries of Sandusky officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
