John A. Danko, 35 of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home. John was born March 21, 1989, at Fremont Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Huron High School, where he ran track and cross country.

John loved playing video games on his PlayStation 4, mostly sports games, Call of Duty, Cold War, and Fortnite with his brother and sister-in-law. He loved movies, eating pizza, loud music and anything to do with cars. Most importantly though, John loved spending time with his family and his friends.

John is survived by his family that he loved fiercely. His father, Robert Danko of Mentor-on-the-Lake; his mother, Deana Danko of Sandusky; his brother, Jason (Elizebeth) Danko of Toledo; and his three nephews, whom he loved dearly Jaxon, Kingston, and Donovan.

Visitation will be from 12- 1 p.m. Thursday March 20, 2025, at VTC Legacy Church, 1619 Strub Rd., Sandusky, Ohio 44870, with a service immediately following.
