John Thomas "Tom" Waggoner, 81, of Willard, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023.
He was born Aug. 7, 1942, in Bellevue, to Beulah (McKenzie) Waggoner. He graduated from Tiffin University with an Associate Degree in Accounting. He retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Willard after over 40 years of dedicated service, where he was a Biller/Accountant. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Willard and recently was attending Willard Christian Reformed Church in Celeryville. Tom was a member of Willard Elks and Willard Lions clubs and he enjoyed golf and all sports at all levels, especially Willard Crimson Flashes, Ohio State University, and Cleveland Indians/Guardians.
He is survived by two sons, John Waggoner II of Attica and Joseph (Yen) Waggoner of Plainfield, Illinois; two grandchildren, McKenzie (Drew) Rosemond and Joshua Waggoner (Cassie Morales); great-grandchildren, Nora Rosemond and Thoedore Rosemond; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Bambauer) Waggoner, whom he married Oct. 15, 1967; and mother, Beulah (McKenzie) Waggoner.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, until the time of Tom's memorial service at 1 p.m. at Willard Christian Reformed Church in Celeryville. Pastor Caleb Harper and the Rev. Katie Rivera-Torea will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Tom's name can be made to the Elks Cerebral Palsy fund.
Secor Funeral Home, Willard, is assisting family with arrangements.
