Aloha Joey,
I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting my, 'Big' cousin, Joey. You visited the Schmitt family on a motorcycle a long time ago in Columbus, OH. My sisters had a blast riding on the back of your bike. One of them even burnt her leg on the exhaust pipe. I was so mad, because I was too little to take a ride on the back of your bike. You were the life of the party that day!! Thanks for being a cool cuz!

Joe was a childhood friend. One of the best kids in our lower eastside neighborhood. A few years ago, we reconnected after many years apart. I looked forward to seeing him on his visits back to Erie. He had a vast knowledge of our faith in Jesus Christ and was willing to share his knowledge and experiences with others. Joe was truly a great man
