Terry L. Joseph, 75, of Sandusky, passed away while surrounded by family Oct. 17, 2024 at Admiral Pointe's Nursing & Rehabilitation, Huron, after a lengthy illness.

Terry was born Nov. 15, 1948, in Kenton, Ohio.

He was a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Upper Scioto Valley High School in Hardin County, Ohio and joined the Air Force shortly after. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in Thailand at Ubon Air Force Base as a Sergeant of munition maintenance on the F4 Phantom. After leaving the military, he attended Randolph Tech Photography School in Asheboro, North Carolina. Afterward, he had a successful career in the photo industry and owned three photo labs in Raleigh, North Carolina. After selling his business, he left North Carolina, and worked in a regional manager position, which allowed him to live in several states, which he enjoyed. He relocated to Erie County, Ohio in 2004 to be closer to family. He became Assistant Manager at Walmart in Port Clinton, and then moved to Sam's Club in Sandusky.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Donna (Chalfin) Hicks; wife, Phen (Wilawan) Joseph; sons, Brian (Angela), and Shawn (Christina) Joseph; grandchildren, Clara, Mason, and Tommy Joseph; step-children, Santisook and Natthaya Wilawan; step-grandchild, Nattawut Wilawan; sister, Katheryn Sue (Paul) O'Malley; and their three kids; and half-brothers and half-sisters, Ronnie, Keith, and Nancy Joseph.

He was preceded in death by Robert L. Joseph, Daniel B. Hicks, and Rebecca A. Joseph; and (twins) Ayden and Oliver.

Joseph's visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. His burial will follow on Wednesday in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio.
