Josephine "Josie" Minor, 81, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Bellevue Care Center.
She was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Sant' Agata di Militello, Sicily.
Josie immigrated to Bellevue with her family in 1946 from Sicily. She attended Bellevue Schools and was a graduate of Bellevue High School. After graduation, Josie worked at the former General Electric Lamp Plant and First National Bank in Bellevue. She married Philip Minor on May 10, 1969, and he preceded her in death in 2016. Josie was a devoted dog lover to Peppi, JoJo, Koko, and GiGi. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.
Josie is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Josie is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carmelo "Carl," William, Salvatore, Anthony, and Charles Iannello; and sisters, Rosalia Iannello and Caroline Maltese.
Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Funeral Mass will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
