Joshua R. Munoz, 36, residing in Monroeville, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, November 24, 2023.
Joshua was born April 6, 1987, in Sandusky, to Darryl and Amy (Munoz) Hamilton.
Joshua was a Townsend Community School graduate in 2018. He was employed as a manager at Cricket Wireless in Norwalk. He enjoyed video games, sports, shopping, he loved kids, had a heart of gold, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Joshua is survived by his parents; sons, Jordan Munoz of Monroeville and Toby Ellick of Norwalk; fiancée, Crystal Boreman of Monroeville; maternal grandmother, Carol Munoz of Monroeville; paternal grandparents, Nancy and Donald Miller of Castalia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joel Munoz Sr.; paternal grandfather, Richard Hamilton; cousin and little brother, Cody Munoz; and favorite companion, Diamond.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Joshua's funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Bloomingville Cemetery.
