Judith Ann Zoellner
Oct 11, 1940 - Oct 11, 2024
Lino Lakes, MN
Judith A. Zoellner, 84, formerly of Sandusky, and raising her family in nearby Huron, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, Oct. 11, 2024.
She is now celebrating her birthday in eternal glory in Heaven. She was residing in Cerenity Senior Care in White Bear Lake, Minnesota for two years after moving to Lino Lakes, Minnesota in November of 2019 to live with her daughter.
She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Neil and Grace (Rouse) Smith. She came to live in Sandusky with her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Paul Schultz when she was eight, after her mother passed away.
Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She worked several years as a bookkeeper and was the longtime secretary at Calvary Temple in downtown Sandusky. Her greatest passion was serving the Lord and her family, friends, and the church. She taught Sunday School for many years to kids who loved "Grandma Judy." She loved to sing in the choir and in groups, performing solos, duets, and even trios. For several years, she shared her gift portraying Mary, the mother of Jesus, to different groups. She loved to tell others about the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She was, along with her husband Ronnie, a member of Sandusky Church of the Nazarene, and a member of Sandusky Lions Club participating in many community projects. Judy had a servant's heart and blessed many with her beautiful smile, kind words, and sharing God's love.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Scott) Crump of Lino Lakes, Minnesota; two sons, Bob (Lilly) Zoellner of Thonotosassa, Florida, and David Zoellner of Green Cove Springs, Florida; seven grandchildren, Evan Crump, Eric (Arianna) Crump, Andrew (Kirah) Zoellner, Josh (Kiara) Zoellner, Morgan Zoellner, Wesley Zoellner, and Danielle Zoellner; and six great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Zoellner in 2007; her son, William Zoellner in 1984; and her parents.
Visitation for friends will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, until the Lions Club Memorial Service and celebration of life at 2 p.m., at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The Rev. Paul Bushhorn will officiate. Following the celebration of life, the family welcomes family and friends to stay and share memories until 4 p.m. The burial will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, next to her husband, Ron, and son, Bill, at a later date.
Memorial contributions in honor of Judy may be made to Erie County Fund for the Blind, Sandusky Lions Club, P.O. Box 613,
