Julie Roth Obituary

Julie Edna Roth

Oct 29, 1985 - Dec 23, 2022

Toledo

Julie Edna Roth, 37, and her unborn daughter, Edna Rose, died tragically Friday, Dec. 23, 2022.

Julie was born Oct. 29, 1985, to Marc Hand and Cynthia Hildebrand. Julie was homeschooled and received her Bachelors of English Literature and Biology from University of Toledo. Later, she received her Masters of Clinical Nurse Leadership from University of Toledo.

Julie was the beloved wife of George Anthony Roth III (Tony). She was a devoted mother to her two children, George Anthony IV "Rory" and Ayla Lily, and was looking forward to their third child due this spring. Julie and Tony met as adolescents while taking a homeschooling Spanish class. They met again as adults at Fed Ex and their first date was making chocolates. They married in June, 2015. They enjoyed competing in Tough Mudder competitions and was looking forward to traveling. They had many hopes and dreams for their growing family.

Julie was also a dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Our family is devastated by her loss. Julie dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse, first at The Toledo Hospital as a surgical nurse, and more recently as a traveling nurse at The Cleveland Clinic. Julie was focused and passionate about all her life's endeavors and her motto in life was "I'm amiable." Her side business, The Truffle Affair, gave her great joy creating chocolates and sweet treats for others to enjoy. She was a creative mind that loved painting and was in the process of writing her first novel. She was also an avid gardener.

Julie is survived by her husband, Tony; children, Rory and Ayla; mother, Cindy (Darrin) Hildebrand; siblings, Jennifer Schindler, Ashley (Joshua) Wagner, Lauren (Matt) Crafton, Ryan (Stefania) Tiura, Christina (Zachary) Newman, Jessica (Dewi) Reyes, Stephanie (Abhishek) Samuelson, Melissa (Christopher) Toy, Nathan (Olivia) Hildebrand, and Tara (Alec) Strickfaden; stepmother, Cheryl Hand; father and mother-in-law, George and Christina Roth; brothers-in-law, Steven (Megan) Roth and Christopher (Samantha) Roth; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marc Hand; and beloved grandmother, Edna.

Friends may visit 12-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. Hello,
I am not certain you will receive this message.... And on one hand it´s okay if not. You have been on my heart so much this season. I just want you to know that I am praying for you and your girls. My family was also on the road that day and involved in the accident. My son´s 19 year old girlfriend Emma Smith from MI was one of the 4 people that died that day. Please except my sincerest condolences and heartfelt prayers for your family this season.
Peace and Grace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ
