Karen Mann

Mar 15, 1941 - Dec 13, 2023

Sandusky

Karen Suzanne (Riggs) Mann, 82, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at Providence Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 15, 1941, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to William Riggs and Mary (Munce) Riggs.

Karen graduated from St. Mary's High School and attended Kent State University. Karen was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She volunteered for more than 40 years at the former Providence Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed bridge club and shopping (especially at the hospital gift shop) and loved to cook, holidays (especially Halloween and Christmas), and most importantly, spending time with her friends and family.

Karen is survived by her sons, Chris (Kelly) Mann of Sandusky and John (Emily) Mann of Sandusky; grandson, Brandon Lempeck; and other loving relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Riggs and Mary Riggs Nielsen; and husband, Ted Mann, in 2009.
