Kathleen Dale Ward Myers, 70, of Fremont, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at Pro Medica Toledo Hospital.

She was born September 21, 1955, in Sandusky, to the late Charles Burr and Jacqueline Rae (Arnott) Comella.

Kathy, affectionately known to her family and close friends as "Dale," always knew how to have a good time and made a point of looking nice. She enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, and getting her nails and hair done. More than anything, she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy (Kelly), Joshuah (Jennifer), and Jarrod (Amy) Ward; her nine grandchildren, Jordan, Ashton, Jayden, Ben, Jonathon, Cassidy, Addison, Jameson, and Raelyn; three great-grandchildren, Weston, Jaxon, and Brooks; her sister, Kim Hurak; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, who had a hand in raising her, John H. Comella; her first husband, Jerry Ward; and her brother-in-law, Rod Hurak.

At her request, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will begin at 1p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Sandusky Orioles Club, 533 W. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Private Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
