Laird "Larry" "Cuz Muz" Myers, 91, Sandusky, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026.

He was born June 18, 1934, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, graduated from Scottdale High School in 1953 and moved to the Sandusky area in 1962. Larry served in the U.S. Army and National Guard from 1953-1961.

Larry retired from Wagner Quarries in 1996 after 30 years of service. He also operated Lake Front Charter Bus Trips for 40 years.

He was also known as a teenage disc jockey, "Cuz Muz," in the 50s and 60s, working for many radio stations, including WLEC in Sandusky, and was the manager and promoter of The Uptown Country Band for many years.

He was a member of American Legion Post 83, Amvets Post 17, and Huron Eagles. Larry loved giving out candy and was known as the candy man.

He is survived by his son, Ty Allen Myers; daughter, Dawna Agsten; special friends, who he lived with, Jerry and Susan Hunt; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ellsbeth (Chapman) Myers and a sister, Lois Myers.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 4 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Jerald Fenske of St. Stephen United Church of Church will officiate. Entombment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
