Larry Clarence Taylor, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.

Larry was born May 15, 1944, in Sandusky, to Clarence and Helen (Sessler) Taylor.

Larry graduated from Margaretta High School in 1962. He was employed as a Steel Worker at Sandusky Foundry for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to Cleveland Indians and spending time with his grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis; daughters, Sherry (Chris) Stacy, Laurie (Charlie) Gast, and Dianne Taylor; son, Michael (B.J.) Taylor; eight grandchildren, Amber (DJ) Stacy, Sasha (Nick) Johnson, Elizabeth Gast, Brett (Erica) Stacy, Cheianne (Ben) Bledsoe, Corey Gast, Gabrielle Taylor, and Triston Taylor; six great-granddaughters, Audrianna Bruce, Clarissa Johnson, Aubree Stacy, Xandria Johnson, Emma Bruce, and Leila Griffin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Taylor; sister, Lois Paule; granddaughter, Kaitlian Gast; and nephew, Douglas Paule.

Burial services will be private.

Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting family with services.
