Larry E. Wilber Jr., 63, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, February 27, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Larry was born June 17, 1961, in Norwalk to Larry E. Wilber Sr. and Patti (Bower) Wilber.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for and retired from Buffalo Wild Wings. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool, riding his Harley, gambling, and spending time with his dogs, family, and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Martinez) Puentes, whom he married in 2011. He is also survived by his mother, Patti Wilber; daughter, Tara; son, David; stepchildren, Deedra (Paul) Pacheco and Michael Puentes, two grandchildren; two sisters, Kim (Rocco) Donofrio and Kelly (Greg) Freyer; brother, Mark Wilber; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wilber Sr.; maternal and paternal grandparents; and nephew, Marcus.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
