Laura Ann (Waddington) Idrissi-Mojib, 58, of Sandusky, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 2, 1964, in Sandusky, to Donald and Mary (Garlock) Waddington Walker.
Laura graduated from Sandusky High School in 1982. She worked as a Healthcare Revenue Manager most of her career and spent the last five years working at Firelands Regional Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed her pool days in the sun, trips to Bradenton, Florida, making sure the flowers in her yard looked just right, and being with her family. She made a mean pot roast and was always looking for the next best garage sale bargain. She was even coined the "garage sale queen." Laura was best known for being loving, honest, hard-working, and most of all, having the best sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh and had the best laugh herself.
Laura is survived by her husband, Badredine, whom she married Aug. 23, 1986; daughter, Amal M. Idrissi-Mojib of Castalia; son, Anwar M. Idrissi-Mojib of Sandusky; brothers, David (Ann) Waddington and Donald "Ponch" (Sherrie) Waddington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Robert Walker; and brothers, Charles and Michael Waddington.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Laura's funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd., Sandusky, with the Rev. Ken Hiser presiding. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
