Linda Harris Obituary

Linda Harris

Oct 2, 1946 - Sep 1, 2025

Norwalk

Linda L. (Snyder) Harris, 78, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was born October 2, 1946, to John and Betty (Williams) Snyder in Van Wert, Ohio.

Linda was raised in Clyde, and graduated from Clyde High School in 1964, where she was an active member of both the Marching and Concert bands. She later attended Stautzenberger College, earning her degree. Linda married the love of her life, Rodney Harris, and together they raised three children. A dedicated member of St. Peter's Evangelical Church, Linda was known for her servant's heart and her unwavering commitment to helping others. She volunteered at the gift shop at FTMC, spent many years delivering Meals on Wheels alongside Rodney, helped with the funeral luncheons at St. Peter, and lovingly crocheted sweater angels for the newborns at the hospital. Outside of her volunteer work, Linda found joy in spending time with her card clubs, line dancing, and reading. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Harris; her children, Pam (Ernie) Mangold, Sandy (Robert) Harris, and Rodney (Michelle) Harris Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Joshua, Heidi, Ethan, and Jackson; her great-grandchildren, Lydia and Theodore; her brother, Louie (Nancy) Synder; and nephews, Leroy and Timothy Snyder; and many special cousins.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, John and Betty (Williams) Snyder.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Peter's Evangelical Church, 243 Benedict Ave, Norwalk, OH, 44857. Funeral service will take place following the conclusion of visitation at noon with Pastor Philip Gardner officiating.
