Lisa Lynette Bellamy-Hensley, 63, of Huron, passed away early Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born November 13, 1961, in Sandusky, to the late Robert J. and Bonnie J. (Ramey) Bellamy.
Lisa was a 1980 graduate of Edison High School. She worked as a server and bartender and cooked for many years at several different local restaurants, including Lemmy's and I-5's. She was very social and loved to help and serve others. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, collecting lighthouses and clown figurines, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.
She is survived by her son, Chad "Cody" Hensley; her two brothers, Bob (Kimberly) and Perry (Heather Plue) Bellamy; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
At her request, cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contribu-tions in her name may be directed to Activities Department at Admirals Pointe Nursing Home, 1920 W. Cleveland Rd., Huron, Ohio 44839.

I knew Lisa from attending Berlin -Milan-Middle -School and Edison High School. I met back up with Her at Admiral's Pointe . I was Blessed to have been her registered nurse and be able to take care of her at this facility. She was the best advocate for the residents and she watched out for them all! She was a sweet and caring person . Which in turn my mother in law volunteers at this facility and she would always stop in and check on Lisa for me since I have retired . I remember her playing basketball and she always was a team player.
I was so saddened to see this .
May the Lord be with you all!
I´m praying for you and Lisa will always be with us!
I know how much she missed her mom and dad too.

I knew Lisa from old Berlin Heights, Her Mom and Dad and family. She worked at I 5s in Huron when I met back up with Her. She was a sweet and caring person and a lot of fun. God bless and reward Her for all she did for others.
