Marjorie S. Minnis (nee Spector), 78, of Cleveland Heights, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at home.

Marjorie was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Sandusky.

She was the cherished and devoted wife of 54 years of Timothy; beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Arlyne Spector; sister of Kenneth Spector (Micky) of Scottsdale, Arizona, and the late James Spector (Kathie, deceased) of The Villages, Florida; and beloved aunt of Jennifer Legler (William) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Julie Nouwen (Wim, deceased) of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by many other devoted nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and a myriad of loving friends.

Marjorie was an opera and concert singer of note and enjoyed a successful performing career in New York City, New York, for many years. She was a graduate of The Ohio State University and pursued advanced studies at Manhattan School of Music.

There will be no services.

Dear Tim, Knowing how much you loved Margie and the life you shared with her and how much you have missed her this past year, please try and take heart in the memories you created during your time together. We all remember the wonderful legacy she left. Margie will remain in our hearts forever!
