Mary Lou Davis, 88, residing in Norwalk, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, Nov. 3, 2022, at her home.
Mary Lou was born Feb. 21, 1934, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Ira and Louise (Taylor) Kiger.
Mary Lou graduated from Waynesburg High School. She was secretary and part-owner of the family's construction business. Mary Lou was also a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her loved ones. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church and assisted with their food pantry.
Mary Lou is survived by three children, Linda Lou (Jim) Johnson of Norwalk, Kathleen (Barry) Moore of Spraggs, Pennsylvania, and Jim (Michelle) Davis of Monroeville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosaline Kiger of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jack Davis; son, Samuel Davis; and five siblings, Duane Kiger, Viola Bandelow, William Kiger, Karen Sue Kiger, and Donald Kiger.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, until the time of Mary Lou's funeral at 12 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mary Lou's honor may be made to Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
