Mary Jane (Brown) Strong, 81, residing in Norwalk, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 following a brief illness.

Mary was born on August 30, 1942 in Norwalk, OH to the late Rodney J. and Esther R. (Martin) Brown.

Mary Jane worked at Fanny Farmers until it closed then she worked Schild's IGA in the deli. Mary was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, In Norwalk, Ohio and Norwalk VFW Auxiliary.

Mary is survived by her husband of 23 years Richard Strong, Norwalk, Ohio; daughter, Robin (Jeff) Adelman of Milan, Ohio, Step-sons, Richard (Sharon) Strong of Vermilion, Ohio, Steve (Daphne) Strong of Lorain, Ohio; Grandchildren Gage (Jordan) Tusing and Colyn Tusing; step-grandchildren Haley Strong, Tyler Strong, Tony (Joanne) Post, and Tracy (Carl) Gabrielson, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her twin brother, Larry J. Brown, sister, Patricia A. Herner and brother Rodney E. Brown.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Groff Funeral Home, One South S. Main Street in Milan, Ohio. Burial will be later in Milan Cemetery, Milan, Ohio.
