Marylou J. (Yontz) Good, 86, residing in Castalia, passed away Friday evening, August 15, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Marylou was born March 26, 1939, in Sandusky, to the late Robert T.F. and Ellen L. (Rickard) Yontz.

Marylou was a 1957 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was employed by Walmart in Sandusky for many years. Marylou was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ. In her spare time, Marylou enjoyed camping, bowling, word search puzzles, gambling trips and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Marylou is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard W. Good, whom she married November 16, 1957. She is also survived by her four daughters, Rebecca Biggert, Cindy L. Good, Cathy (Tom) Griggs, all of Sandusky, and Beth Peterman of Castalia; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Barb Knupke of Norwalk and Judy Slocum of Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Marylou is preceded in death by her sister, Pat Stookey; grandson, Steven Biggert and one brother in infancy, Frederick.

Family Services will be private. Inurnment will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park with Pastor Wally Gilbert officiating. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting family with arrangements.
