A life time ago, but it seems like only a few years, I had a friend and fraternity brother named Max Loudenslagel. We first met in fall of 77 on the baseball fields as we were both two of the many freshman trying out for Marietta's ball team. We were on the same fall team and he was the best catcher I ever played with and had a cannon of a right arm. The next 3 years we lived next to each other in the DU house and helped defeat the Lambda Chis and independents for a campus softball championship. I have not stayed in too close of contact with many from my college years but Max was one I really hoped to see again sometime. We had great times together and I know he is missed by all who knew him. My son is named Max and that old friend is a big reason for that. Rest in Peace Brother.

RIP Mark, and my condolences to the family. I hadn't seen you in years but know these family and friends losses don't get easier as time goes by. May your memories of better times lift you up and fill you with joy.
