Michael DeWayne Brown, 54, of Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 while surrounded by his family and the caring staff at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Sandusky on November 30, 1967 to the late Jessie B. Brown and the late Fred B. Jones. He was a 1987 graduate of Sandusky High School. Michael worked various jobs in the food industry, including Bob Evans, Fazoli's, Wendy's, and Burger King. He loved to barbeque and clean cars. Spending time with his children, siblings, and friends, was special to him. He was always enjoying life.

He is survived by his son, Miguel (Brittany) Brown, of Sandusky; sister, Angela Brown, of Sandusky; brothers, Demein Brown, Antonio (Janae) Brown, and Aris Brown, all of Sandusky, James (Destiny) Brown, of Clyde; grandchildren, Miguel Brown, Jr. and Mi' Rico Brown; special aunt, Lettie Ruffin, of Waynesboro, MS; special friends, Shonsai Seavers, Toby Miller, Damon De-Moe Arnold, Tonya Randleman, Neicy Reed, and Angie Scott; goddaughter, Keyaira Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Christina Brown; brother, Cornelius Brown; nephew, Jemarius Wraggs; and grandson, Brayden Minnifield.

Friends may call on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St. Sandusky. Elder Paul Smoot will give the eulogy.
