Michael Robert "Mike" Lieb, 49, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, in Toledo, after a short battle with cancer.

Mike was born March 21, 1974, in Sandusky, the beloved son of Tena Lieb and the late William Lieb.

Known affectionately as Mike, he was a man with an immense heart and unique spirit. His compassionate nature and loving demeanor were the cornerstone of his character. Mike was known for his unwavering work ethic and his drive to achieve his goals. Mike lived a life marked by a joyous cadence, embracing the rhythm of the world around him, and finding the greatest happiness in the company of his family and friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his adoring children, Brianna, Brandon, and Charlotte; mother, Tena Lieb; and siblings, Shawna Cowger, Christina Muha, and Joshua Lieb.

A graduate of Sandusky High School, Mike's formative years were spent in the town of his birth, where he formed lifelong friendships and fond memories.

Mike's celebration of life to honor him will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Faith Church, 1320 East Strub Rd., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870. The Lieb family welcomes all friends and family to join them in celebrating Mike's life.

Mike's children kindly suggest that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution do so to National Alliance on Mental Health or American Cancer Society.

The memory of Mike will endure through the many lives he touched. His absence creates a void that will be felt by all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him.
