Michael John McGuire, 85, residing in Norwalk, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.

Michael was born December 27, 1939, in Sandusky to the late Harold Edward and Ida (Miller) McGuire.

Michael graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1958. He was a second-generation owner and president of Bay Manufacturing, a division of HEMCO Inc. Michael was a long-time member of Berlin-Milan School Board, a member and officer of Milan Chamber of Commerce and St. Anthony's Church, where he was a council and choir member. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife, Joyce "Deb" (Pierce) McGuire, whom he married June 25, 1960. He is also survived by his children, Cheryl (Eric) Kirk, Theresa (Todd) Temple, John (Beth) McGuire and Marsha McGuire; his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Joseph Graziani, Taylor (Stephanie) Temple, Tyler Temple, Justice (Kamri) McGuire, Ireland (Chris) Kuhn, Mason and Jillian McGuire, Chris (Hayley) Kirk and Jenny (Scott) Levy; great-grandchildren, Bentley Evans, Lucy and Lucas Temple, Jacob Levy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his son, Gregory McGuire; and his three brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call Tuesday January 28th, 2025 from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave. Sandusky, Ohio. Private burial will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Milan.
