Moira Gayle Hardwick, of Milan, 22, died at her home, Thursday, July 14, 2022, as the result of an overdose. She was born July 5, 2000, in Lorain, and was a 2018 Graduate of EHOVE Career Center. She loved to spend time with her family, most especially with her son, Weston. Moira enjoyed swimming, hated hot days, and her favorite past time was napping.

Survivors include her son, Weston; mother, Treva (James) Sapp of Wakeman; father, Nick (Aledia) Hardwick of Norwalk; sisters, Kelsey Sapp, Idel Hardwick, and Izzy Seville; brothers, Dustin Sapp, and Jacob and Caleb Hardwick; and grandparents, Laura and Terry Speer and Dewy and Sue Hardwick. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Gayle and Gene Boso.

Though our hearts are heavy and mourn our loss, we choose to celebrate Moira's freedom in the arms of a compassionate God. A celebration of Moira's life will be 12-3 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Wakeman Eagles, 35 E. Main St, Wakeman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Em's Angels, PO Box 394, Milan, Ohio, 44846. Arrangements have been entrusted to Groff Funeral Home and Crematory.
