Moses Page Jr, 78, passed away peacefully at Firelands Regional Medical Center Wednesday, June 11, 2025, where he was surrounded by loved ones. Moses was born October 6, 1946, in Laurel, Mississippi, to Moses Page Sr. and Braddis Page. At an early age, the family relocated to Sandusky, where he was a product of Sandusky City Schools.
Moses gave his life to Christ at an early age and began his Christian journey at Mt. Zion Church. He later united with Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member. He served on the Usher Board, he sang in Men's Choir, and he was a part of Men on a Mission (MOAM). Moses was a man of deep faith and unwavering generosity. He was a devoted member of his church who was always looking to enhance and advance church. He gave faithfully and without hesitation whenever a need was announced. He deeply loved his church and held a special admiration for his Pastor, always speaking of them with respect and affection. His quiet acts of kindness and consistent support left a lasting impact on his church.
He was in a loving relationship with Marie, his partner of over 50 years. Together, they built a life rooted in love, respect, and family. Through their time together, they were blessed with three children, Darin Johnson, Donovan Johnson, and Victor Robinson.
He also enjoyed life's simple pleasures; one of his favorites was getting his hair cut by his nephew, Mike, something he cherished. Additionally, he lovingly assisted his sister, Deana, in caring for their father, demonstrating the same dedication and compassion to his family that he showed to others throughout his life. To his family, he was affectionately known as June since he was named in loving memory of his father.
Moses was preceded in death by his parents, Moses Sr. and Braddis Page; brother, Rob Page; two nephews, Darylaron Douglas Sandridge and Daryl Everett; and uncles, aunties, and grandparents.
