Nancy C. (Rhodes) Harman, 84, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Firelands Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Nancy was born in Sandusky to Ralph and Ruth Rhodes. She was a 1956 graduate of Huron High School and 1960 graduate of Bowling Green State University. For 36 years, she enjoyed teaching at Huron City Schools. She was a DAR member, avid bibliophile, and animal lover.
She is survived by her sister, Betsy (Rhodes) Majoy; brother, David Rhodes; niece, Amy Wennes; nephew, Rob (Shelly) Majoy; close friend, Sam Jeffrey; friend and caregiver, Molly Walton; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Kailee and Drew Wennes and Gavin and Halle Majoy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant brother, Gary.
Private family services will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Huron Rescue Squad, 413 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839.
Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting family.
