Norman H. Snyder Jr., 84, of New London passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at his home. He was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Wakeman, to the late Alta (Albright) and Norman H. Snyder Sr. He was a graduate of New London High School, employed at Norwalk Furniture for many years, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Ashland. He was a quiet reserved man that was good to his word, dependable, and enjoyed working in his garden.
Mr. Snyder is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Patton) who he married Dec. 27, 1985; five children, Mike (Eva) Snyder, April (Roy) Jarrell, Amy (Billy) Griffitts, Stacy Mulder, and Caitlin (Wilson) Korir; three stepchildren, Christopher Wells, Rebekah (Jeremy) Elerick, and Robert (Megan) Well; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin brother, Norris Snyder.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at Grove Street Cemetery, New London. Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, assisted family with arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
