Patrick Lester "Cowboy" Leber, 80, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Castalia, the son of Lester and Roseta (Boss) Leber.
He was a graduate of York High School. After graduation, he worked at Johnson Controls and several trucking companies throughout the years including his last employer, Hartley Trucking.
Patrick loved his farm and caring for his horses and animals. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, teaching them how to build.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Regina (Lewis) Leber; daughters, Rhonda Mulligan and Krista (Casey Gowitzka) Leber; sons, David (Angie) Leber and Kyle Leber; grandchildren, Chris (Erin) Mulligan, Brianna Mulligan, Zach, Tyler, and Sierra Leber, Tre Leber, Serenity and Elijah Gowitzka; great-granddaughter, Mikayla Mulligan; and siblings, Mike Leber, Linda Kaufman, Tom (Sue) Leber, and Steve (Tamela) Leber.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barb Leber; children, Karen and James Leber; and first wife, Janet (Hill) Leber.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, until the time of Patrick's funeral at 12 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
