Peggy Joyce Davis, 96, Sandusky, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at The Willows at Bellevue.

She was born April 5, 1929, in Clyde, to the late Murrell and Ruth (Thomas) Dick.

She retired from General Motors and being a lifelong caregiver to her family.

Peggy was a member of Christ Community Church, Sandusky, a past member of American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries, and Red Hat Society. She was a dedicated volunteer for Buckeye Girls State and Ohio Veterans Home for over 35 years. Loving her children and grandchildren was most important to her.

She is survived by her children, Christine (Ken) Shepherd, Brenda (Rick) Crawford, Donna (John) Poock, and Melissa (David) Downing; nine grandchildren, Matthew Shepherd, Crystal Green, Kelly Van Sickle, Nicole Doller, Kristen Schaefer, John Shepherd, Katelyn Oxender, Lucas Poock, and Maycee Blodgett; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Bonnie) Dick; many nieces and nephews. Her beautiful smile and warm spirit will be truly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Davis in 2018; parents; sons, Terry Green, Glenn "Gus" Davis and a son in infancy; her granddaughter, Amy McClellan; and siblings, Phyllis, Margie, Richard, Ronald, Lois, Thomas and David.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of memorial services at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Christ Community Church, 2401 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Erin Porter will officiate. Burial will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made in her name to Christ Community Church.

The family would like to thank The Willows at Bellevue for their great care and comfort for Peggy. We should all live to be like Peggy Joyce Davis.
