Penny Jo Zura, 77, of Dover, Delaware and formerly of Catawba Island, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Dover. She was born January 2, 1949, in Shelby, the daughter of Norman and Dorothy (McCumber) Till. She married Kenneth Zura, October 28, 1967. Penny was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, being silly, laughing, and playing games. She had a huge heart for everyone.
Surviving are her son, Michael (Tiffany) Zura, Dover, Delaware; daughter, Heather (Jerry) Johnson, Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah Zura and Owen Zura, Dover, Delaware; sisters, Judy Dress, Port Clinton, Candy (Randy) Guba, Marblehead, and Dana (Catarino) Alvarez, Port Clinton; brothers, Robert Till and John Till, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Jean Seymour; brother, David Till and infant brother, Ricky Till.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery, Marblehead, with Fr. Joseph Repko officiating.
