Rebecca Jane (Shaver) Spring, 79, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, February 7, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Becky was born January 9, 1947, in Shelby, to the late Stanley W. and Marjorie E. (Rollins) Shaver. She was a 1965 graduate of Shelby High School.

Throughout her life, Becky worked as an office administrator and was most recently employed at the Delphi plant in Sandusky. She and her husband, Delbert, shared nearly 50 years and many happy memories together. They were active members of Oriels Club, Eagles Club, and American Legion, where they enjoyed socializing and spending time with friends.

Becky took great pride in her yard, which she kept meticulously cared for. She loved boating and attending car shows, and she was a devoted Cleveland Indians baseball fan. Above all, Becky had a special place in her heart for her dogs and was the proud companion of several Spitz over the years.

Becky is survived by her husband of 47 years, Delbert Spring; brother, William Shaver; nieces and nephews, Kathy Stima Elliott, Steve (Tira) Stima, Randy (Jennifer) Shaver, and Shelley (Josh Strohm) Wagers; a stepson; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives; and her cherished dog, Bella.

In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Allison Rebecca Spring and sister, Betsy Stima.

Private family services will take place to celebrate Becky's life. Burial will at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory in Sandusky is assisting family with arrangements.
