Troy
Richard W. "Dick" Foust, age 87, of Troy, Ohio and formerly of Sandusky, passed away on July 4, 2022, at Dayton VA Medical Center. He was born Feb. 24, 1935, in New York City, New York.
He is survived by his life partner of 30 years, Jane Athey; three children, Brian Foust, Susie Brunner, and Sherry Nesbit; and 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jane Foust; daughter, Jana Foust; maternal grandparents who raised him; and two sisters.
Dick was a 1953 graduate of Milton Senior High School in Milton, Pennsylvania. He then enlisted in U.S. Marine Corp and served for three years. Dick retired from Ruth Packing Company, Sandusky. He was a member of VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and American Legion, and enjoyed many years of golf.
No public services will take place. Memorial contributions may be made in Dick's memory to Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio, 45428.

Jane,Brian,Susie and Sherry,
I´m so very sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Dick.. of him coming to California when I was a teenager to visit my Step-Dad ( Rig) and when he moved out here part time. After my Step-Dad passed away I´d get occasional emails from Dick asking how I was. He was a wonderful a man and will be missed. Love to you all

JANE & FAMILY , SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I SURE KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. I WILL REMEMBER THOSE TIMES IN JUNE WHEN YOU WOULD COME IN TO MILTON FOR CLASS REUNIONS & CALL & INVITE ME TO GO FOR DINNER AT THE WATSON INN. IT WAS SHORT VISITS ,BUT IT MENT A LOT TO ME.
