Richard T. Golias, 82, of Lakeside-Marblehead, and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his home. He was born June 15, 1943, in Cleveland, the son of Thomas and Michalina (Waligorski) Golias. On February 19, 1972, he married Kathleen Madanski.

Richard was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam Era. He worked at Dupont Chemical, Jay's Home Furnishing in Cleveland and Standard Oil Refinery in Cleveland. He enjoyed harness horse racing and oldies music, especially going to Hoover Auditorium in Lakeside. He loved animals and enjoyed vacationing with his wife, including three overseas trips and a trip to Hawaii.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Golias; nieces, Diana Turchik and Karen (Ted) Ledvina, both of Seven Hills.

He was preceded in death by his parents; half sister, Eleanor Turchik; and niece, Paulette Bacho.

Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead. A short prayer service will be led by Father Joseph Szybka at 1 p.m. Sunday.
