Robert B. "Bob" Kessler, 79, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday morning, October 8, 2025, at Admiral's Pointe Nursing Home in Huron, Ohio.

Born February 14, 1946, in San Francisco, California, the son of Dorothy Ann (Sovich) Pischel. He had attended St. Mary's High School. Bob had worked at Union Chain Company for nearly 40 years before retiring.

He had been a member of Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene and Sandusky Eagles Aerie No. 444.

Bob is survived by two son, Lawrence A. "Larry" Kessler of Melbourne, Florida, and Vincent P. (Jennifer) Kessler of Norwalk; a daughter, Christina I. (David) Sullivan of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Kyla M. and Vincent A. Kessler and Cynthia I Sullivan; sisters-in-law, Tina (Jim) Carpenter of Shelby and Rosmary Shockey of Cabot, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife of 46 years, Cheryl I. (Kadow) Kessler, September 17, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, with the Rev. Keith A. Martinez officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH 44870.
