Robert H. Schoenfeld, 86, of Catawba Island, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at Edgewood Manor Healthcare. He was born July 26, 1938, in Fremont, the son of Harold and Gladys (Taylor) Schoenfeld. He graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1957 and married Carol Barnes in Angola, Indiana, September 7, 1957. He worked as an inspector for Standard Products in Port Clinton, retiring in 1992.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; daughters, Carol (Dave) Mead of Catawba Island, Ellen (Bill) Rofkar of Catawba Island, and Amy Noble of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Kira, Kristin, Nelson, Gretchen, Rachel, Henry, and Jeremy; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie (Roger) Fearing of Sandusky and Kay Kohlman of Port Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandchildren, Corra, Jack and Caroline; brother, Tom Schoenfeld; and half sister, Patricia Aldrich.
There will be no services. Interment will be at a later date in Catawba Island Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cancer Services, 505 E. Perkins Ave. Sandusky, OH 44870.
