My heart goes out to the Thames family on this loss. I will never forget seeing my Friend every Sunday after church and sharing laughs, and the biggest hugs. I´m so glad we were blessed to have him here on this earth for as long as he was. I will never forget his smile and laugh. Praying for you all and sending my love.

God called your name softly, that only He could hear and no one heard the footsteps of the Angels drawing near. An Angel wrote in the Book of Life, the date of your birth, then whispered as the Book was closed, "Too beautiful for earth." I did not see you close your eyes, I did not see you die, and the hardest part of you dying is not having the opportunity to say goodbye. The blow is hard, the shock severe, to part with you, I loved so dear. Two eyes are sleeping, two hands are still, and the one I love so much is resting in God's Will. Beautiful memories are left behind, they will forever be in my mind. I love you, my role model, my big brother.

So sad to hear this...

Mr. Thames was a legend at Providence Hospital. Such a kind man, with a great sense of humor.
If anyone was having a stressful day, you could count on him to give you a hug and encouragement.

His presence at the hospital was a light to us all.
