Roger W. Logan, 82, of Bellevue, died Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born Feb. 9, 1941, in Portsmouth, to Leonard and Clarcie (Ratliff) Logan. Roger worked 42 years at Armstrong Furnace until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church, Bellevue. He treasured the time he spent at church and with his church friends. Roger enjoyed spending time with his dog, K.C., and going on trips to visit family. Always a hard-worker, his yard looked immaculate. Roger spent many hours working outside on his property. He could talk to anyone about muscle cars and particularly was interested in his '64 GTO. He often took it to car shows and enjoyed spending time at swap meets too. Roger was a NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt.

He married Karen "Kay" (Clifford) on Oct. 11, 1959, and she preceded him in death Oct. 13, 2017.

Roger's survivors include their son, Jeffrey (Lori) Logan of Bellevue; grandson, Kyle Logan of Findlay; and sisters-in-law, Beulah (Jim) Swartz of Port Clinton and Helen Logan of Florida.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Roger's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Providence Baptist Church, 1000 W. Gardner Road, Bellevue. The Rev. Dan Duffy will officiate and burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Providence Baptist Church or Erie County Humane Society.
